Last night we had the chance to work on the Student Government Awards Banquet for Fox Valley Technical College. It was an event that we had been planning throughout the semester.

We were responsible for the catering, set-up, and overall organization of the event, as well as ordering everything ahead of time. The catering was done by about 10 of my classmates who are in the culinary program. The other aspects were handled between the other event planner and myself.

For the event, we chose the colors: red, black and white as it was a red carpet themed event. The table cloths were black, napkins were red and the centerpieces were mostly white and red.

It was great to see how the event turned out after all of the time and effort that was put in to it!
